Student Life
Welcome to all students, especially to those who have joined us for the first time.
CAWNY offers a unique experience for all students, Pre-K through 12th grade. The school day begins at 8:30 AM and ends at 2:40 PM. Along with the regular classes, students participate in gym, art, technology and music as well as many other electives. Students also take part in a variety of activities such as grub days, (dress down days where money is raised for different missions groups), HS and middle school camps, Christmas Cupboard, Speech meet, Academic Day, Science Fair, Mother's Day plant sale, Student Council, National Honor Society, Skating Parties, HS Winter Ball and Prom, Spirit Week, International Day, Field days, Field trips, fund raising, various sports with Sports Banquet and so much more.
There are opportunities for personal and spiritual growth as we strive to meet the needs of the whole student. We hope that you are prayerful about the gifts and talents that God has placed in you and how they can be used for His Glory and to benefit those around you.
Our school continues to be strengthened by our teachers and families as they have exemplified this verse: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".
Please sign up for those sports that you are interested in playing this school year. Tentatively we are offering coed Badminton and Floor Hockey intermurals for grades 3-6. For the girls; Volleyball, Basketball and Cheerleading. For the boys; Flag Football,and Basketball.. Coed sports: Soccer, Tennis, and Track. We are currently looking for several coaches and if you know someone who is available, please have them contact the office.
