A message to prospective music students from our Music Teacher:
Hello, my name is Deborah Hogan and I am thrilled to have been appointed as your instrumental music teacher. I'm looking forward to helping you have a fun and productive musical year. I love music and I became a teacher to give back to youth and share this God-given gift.
After spending my time as a United States Marine Corps Musician, I returned to civilian life in California and worked in the Medical Registration Profession for a number of years, but I couldn't shake the feeling of wanting to become a teacher. So, I returned home to North Collins, NY with my two young children and got my both Bachelor and Master degrees in Music from SUNY Fredonia. Upon graduation, I have gained experience as an Instrumental teacher in various local school districts as a Long-Term Substitute Teacher and have taught lessons around the corner from CAWNY at Matt's Music Store on Oliver Street for many years. I can't wait spending the next year learning and making music together.
Parents, if you have any questions, I can be reached at (716) 361-3371 anytime.
Musically Yours,
Mrs. Deborah Hogan

Things About Me:
I started playing Euphonium at age 10.
I play in Tonawanda Legion Band, Buffalo Silver Band, and Ladies First Big Band.
Students have told me I talk in the third person (must be from my USMC experience).
Both my daughter and son are professional musicians.
I will always show respect and have my students best interest at heart.
