Testimonial

This school is amazing! It has helped many single parents by giving hope for their child's future and encouragement for the "now" of their school days. Being a single, concerned, and loving parent is not an easy place in life. Very rare are the supportive individuals and institutions that can make a difference in the tension you experience in this role and as a child.

Application

Complete application forms in its entirety.  Students will not be processed for enrollment until all forms are completed and signed and the registration fee has been paid.

Records

Academic, health, and psychological records from the previous school must be received before admission to Christian Academy of Western New York (CAWNY) can be granted.  A family interview may be required.

Acceptance

After review of enrollment application and previous records, you will be notified as to the status of your acceptance.  It is recommended that junior and senior high school students visit CAWNY before a transfer decision is made.  It is required that all secondary students transferring during a school year, attend CAWNY for one week before acceptance is granted.  Regular attendance at a Christian church is required of all CAWNY families and students.

Transportation

Families must re-apply each year by April 1st to their local Board of Education. The districts are not obligated to provide transportation to applicants after that date unless you are new in the district. CAWNY must be within 15 miles of your home for you to qualify for transportation. Kindergarten through fifth grade students must live more than one mile from the school to qualify and sixth through eighth grade students one and a half miles.

Class Size

If the class is at capacity, applicants will be placed on a waiting list.

Tuition Payments

Tuition may be paid on a ten month or twelve month payment plan.  All tuition will be handled directly by the CAWNY office.  Payments should be brought in or mailed to the school on the first of each month (no later than the second week of each month). A payment made after the 15th of the month will be considered delinquent and will result in a $25.00 late fee added to the account. Non payment could result in dismissal from CAWNY. Please make checks payable to CAWNY. Any fee or tuition not paid will result in all records, report cards, and test results being held until the balance is brought current.
